The WOLFBOX G930 is a full-replacement mirror dash cam that installs over your existing rear-view mirror and delivers 4K front camera recording, a live 1080P rear camera feed displayed on a 10-inch IPS touch screen, built-in GPS, 5GHz WiFi, and optional 24-hour parking surveillance in one unit. It replaces multiple separate devices and uses a super capacitor instead of a lithium battery, making it resistant to the extreme temperatures found inside parked vehicles. The package includes the rear camera, 64GB SD card, mounting straps, GPS receiver, and all cables required to get recording immediately.

Key Features and Benefits

The front lens captures 4K Ultra HD footage at 3840×2160 resolution and 30 frames per second through a GC4653 imaging sensor with an F1.5 aperture and 130-degree field of view. The wide aperture combined with WDR and 3D DNR processing delivers clear footage in low-light, high-contrast, and night driving conditions where cheaper sensors produce washed-out or underexposed images. The 10-inch full-touch 16:9 IPS display replaces the standard rear-view mirror face, showing a live feed from the rear camera instead of a reflected image, which eliminates blind spots caused by passengers, headrests, and cargo. The rear camera supports mirror flip and vertical flip, allowing correct orientation regardless of mounting position on sedans, SUVs, pickups, or trucks. Built-in GPS logs speed, heading, and route data embedded directly in footage and viewable using GPS Player software. The 5GHz WiFi module is significantly faster than standard 2.4GHz units for live preview and video download via the WOLFBOX iOS and Android app. Loop recording in 1, 2, or 3-minute segments automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked footage when the 128GB maximum capacity is reached. G-sensor collision detection automatically locks the clip surrounding an impact, protecting it from overwrite. The super capacitor design eliminates the lithium battery failure risk in vehicles parked in hot climates or direct sun, with a working range of minus 15 to plus 65 degrees Celsius. The front camera module rotates 360 degrees independently of the mirror body for angle adjustment without repositioning the entire mount.

Product Compatibility

Universal fitment. Compatible with the majority of passenger cars, hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, light commercial vehicles, pickups, trucks, and RVs that have a standard rear-view mirror rail mount. The unit attaches using 4 rubber straps looped around the existing mirror body with no drilling, adhesive, or permanent modification. Rear camera mirror flip and vertical flip modes expand compatibility to vehicles requiring inverted rear camera mounting. Buyers should confirm their vehicle’s rear-view mirror width and sun visor clearance accommodate a 320mm wide unit before purchasing. For vehicles with smaller mirrors or significant vibration, use of the included mount bracket is recommended.

Two configurations available at the time of order: NO HW KIT (powered via 12V car charger socket, parking monitor inactive when vehicle is off) and WITH HW KIT (hardwired direct to vehicle battery, enables full 24-hour parking monitoring, time-lapse surveillance, and parked collision detection).

Installation Notes and Special Functions

Mount the G930 over the existing rear-view mirror using the 4 included rubber straps, tensioned around the mirror body. No adhesive, brackets, or drilling required. Route the 21.3-foot rear camera cable from the unit along the headliner and door seal to the rear of the vehicle and connect to the rear camera. Power the unit via the included car charger from the 12V accessory socket. The front camera extends and rotates up to 360 degrees for precise angle setting without moving the full unit.

For 24-hour parking monitoring, the optional HW KIT taps into the vehicle fuse box and steps 12V battery power down to 5V to keep the unit active when the ignition is off. This enables time-lapse parking recording, motion detection, and G-sensor collision detection while unattended. HW KIT installation requires identifying the correct fuse positions for constant and accessory power in the specific vehicle. Professional installation by an automotive electrician or car audio technician is strongly recommended to avoid battery drain or electrical system damage from incorrect fuse tapping.

The reversing aid activates automatically when reverse gear is engaged, displaying configurable guide lines on screen. GPS route and speed data is embedded in recorded footage and reviewed using GPS Player software.
